Life at Cadbury College is beyond life just in the classroom and progressing from school to college is an exciting next step in your education. Our enrichment programmes play an important part in enhancing student life.

We offer a wide range of activities from the creative, academic and work related, to sports clubs, societies and charity-based programmes which celebrate the rich diversity of our student body.

Extra Curricular

Enrichment courses help to broaden your horizons, extend your knowledge and develop crucial skills to ready you for your next steps at university or the world of work.

Developed in conjunction with Russell Group Universities, this programme equips high achieving students with the opportunities and support necessary to apply for entry to the country’s most competitive universities.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s charity programme is a world leading youth achievement award. Students can choose to complete either the Silver or Gold Awards with the college.

Working in partnership with local universities, this course helps equip students with the necessary support and guidance to make successful applications for medical school.

As well as the college football team, Cadbury has its own 5 a-side football league where students, regardless of ability, can enter with friends and enjoy the beautiful game.

There are also basketball teams for boys and girls who compete in the AoC league. Plus there are lots of other opportunities to join other sports teams.

Students interested in a career in law get to perfect their courtroom skills and compete in national competitions.

Student council is made up of elected representatives from each year who meet to plan events, provide feedback and dicuss other topics. By giving every student a voice beyond the classroom, it creates a culture of participation and collaboration.  

We give current students the opportunity to become Student Ambassadors. This allows students to represent and promote the College to prospective students through different events such as Open Days, Discovery Days and workshops to schools.

This role gives students confidence to talk to others and improve their speaking skills
